At Melozhori, we’ve taken this trend into the bush, offering guests the chance to traverse the terrain on a comfortable, battery-assisted bike that makes pedalling a breeze.

Unlike traditional safaris, where you’re confined to a vehicle, e-biking lets you move more freely, immersing you in the sights, sounds, and scents of the bushveld. It’s a more personal, slower-paced way to explore the wild.

E-Biking the Bush

Melozhori’s diverse terrain – ranging from sandy trails and fynbos-covered hills to acacia-lined valleys – provides the perfect playground for e-biking. With the help of an electric assist, you’ll glide along game paths and gravel roads with ease, able to cover more ground without breaking a sweat.

Along the way, you may spot giraffe, zebra, kudu, and even some of the smaller residents like bat-eared foxes or tortoises. The open landscapes and lack of predators mean that wildlife sightings are relaxed, safe and often up-close.

Availability & Cost

We have two e-bikes available for guest use. Rentals are offered at R850 per bike per day, and are subject to availability and weather conditions. We recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
